There is something coming. I'm not sure when, but it's definitely coming mark my words. Like a new renaissance. A new sound that is not a rejection of the old sound, because a rejection necessarily needs what it is rejecting. It can't be a rebellion or like punk, and I don't think it's an appeal to trans-humanism or technology or anything like that (because that's just too colored with anti-humanism, a premature transcendence), so that rules out the ug sound.

In order for something to be a true renaissance it requires purity. Purity requires sensitivity, sincerity, which exists within each person. But as was written for thousands of years, what is sincere becomes coveted and what is coveted becomes impure. Rather, there are no blueprints to sincerity. It's a very personal thing. So like with most things, a sort of dissolution will take place instead of a frantic jumping between poles.

A new renaissance will require sensitivity but not intoxication. Not that intoxication is bad or good, but doesn't intoxication very easily become the goal rather than the means to purity?

Anyway, this renaissance is coming and it will pay no mind to the old institutions. That sounds inconceivable, but like every renaissance, the collective unconscious will switch all at once, like a catalyzing reaction. I am hopeful for the future.
